Well Driller Bond
A Well Driller bond is designed to protect the state against poor workmanship when hiring a contractor for well drilling and related activities. In some municipalities, it is required in order to receive permission to drill or perform related activities. The bond ensures that the driller will abide by all local and state ordinances. Covered activities include the drilling, construction, deepening, repair, renovation, replacement, cleaning, development, abandonment, and pump installation/repair of private water production wells, public water system supply wells, recharge and recovery wells, cathodic protection wells, and more.
