Course Provider Bond
Those in the business of driver’s safety education must hold a course provider bond in order to ensure compliance with TEA policies and procedures. These bonds exist in order to prevent consumers from facing unethical or unprincipled acts of business. Under this bond, test takers will not be liable for any misconduct or negligence promoted by the bond holder. This includes mailing certificates to students, updating the course as necessary, training all instructors, and ensuring that the classes are provided by licensed schools and instructors who are qualified to teach the course.
